How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

With limited storage space, our pool furniture tended to spend the winter exposed to dirt, weather, and nature – limiting its longevity and needing repairs. At The Country Club of Virginia, we decided to purchase covers designed for other items to fit our pool furniture by measuring and using a little creativity. For example, a fountain cover fits three stacked dining tables and a grill cover can fit ten stacked lounge chairs.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Using custom covers, even if not in the way they were intended, allowed us to save space and protect furniture from the elements. Once the furniture was covered, we added years to the average life span and saved 20% on capital replacements.
