The strategic combination of a Cinco de Mayo celebration with a Golf Demo Day proved to be a great success, not only in fostering a lively social atmosphere but also in highlighting our golf facilities and services and driving business for the vendors that came to showcase with us. The "Demo de Mayo" theming attracted a diverse range of members and strengthened their engagement with this annual event (Demo Day). The festive ambiance encouraged camaraderie, fostering a sense of community among all of our members and staff, and provided a unique and fun holiday event for all in attendance.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our "Demo de Mayo" celebration blended holiday cultural festivities with a member-favorite golfing event. Setting everything up on our driving range and Clubhouse patio, the day featured traditional Mexican decor and music, a fajita buffet and bar... simultaneously, vendors showcased the latest golf equipment, providing engaging demonstrations and offering personalized tips to members looking to improve their game. The diverse activities aimed to cater to a wide range of interests within the club. The reactions from club members were overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing delight at the unique and inclusive event.
