Dog Days of Summer

Description

Belle Meade Country Club's Dog Days of Summer event is a family event hosted during the summer and designed to include even the family members of the four-legged variety. BMCC partnered with Metro Animal Care and Control, who attended the event and educated on the importance of "Adopt Don't Shop", Fostering Programs, Volunteering and Donating! Many of our members brought items with them to donate to the charitable organization. Some of the activities for the event included, a Pet Photo Booth, a Barkery, Barkbecue, Yappy Hour Specials, a Puppy Kissing Booth and Pet Caricatures.

Implementation

Our goals for the event were to share a fun filled day with family and furry friends in a safe, fenced in area. to teach some of our younger members how they can get involved in helping a local animal shelter, and give some adorable and adoptable pets an opportunity to find a forever home. We were able to meet and exceed all of those goals.
