Eat, Drink & Be Merry Unique Holiday Boutique

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Throughout the winter months, the pandemic restrictions continued to shift putting an immense pressure on the team to try and execute as much holiday cheer as we could. We were unable to host any of our traditional events (gingerbread house decorating, present making, holiday parties, etc.) and we wanted to provide items to our membership to be able to enjoy at home. We decided to use our summer pavilion (which was transformed to a year-round cafe) as an outlet to offer a holiday pop-up shop. Items included homemade dog treats, holiday cookies, a kids craft kit, gingerbread decorating, snack baskets, glassware, a steak kit, and more! We had something for everyone, not just to take home for themselves but to also potentially gift to others.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Our pavilion/cafe is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, welcoming members to order food and come in to shop. We sold over 180 items from out Eat, Drink and Be Merry Unique Boutique pop-up. Members were so excited to be able to shop for themselves and others, especially during a time they were uncomfortable going to other stores. As we continue navigating through the pandemic, members have requested to have a similar pop-up shop opportunity that applies to each season.
