Idea Fair

Educate Your Employees & Protect Your Digital Assets

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Phishing scams are a form of cybercrime that involves defrauding users to obtain sensitive information. Cybercriminals act as legitimate companies or organizations to obtain information. Even clubs are not immune!

At The Country Club of Virginia, we utilized those annoying and potentially dangerous phishing emails to educate our employees.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The phishing emails were shared with staff and we pointed out the problems with them. As a result, employees are more familiar with the tricks used and our club has another layer of protection against cybercrime.
