Employee Family Meals

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Employee Family Meal program occurs during the summer season when business slows, and most members are away. Due to ongoing club renovations, these meals are currently held in the golf course maintenance shop. The program brings employees from all departments together for a shared meal, promoting unity and camaraderie. Each department takes turns catering the meal, offering a chance for employees who don’t typically interact to connect in a relaxed setting. It also serves as an opportunity for our GM Joe Smith to make club announcements, show appreciation, and raffle off prizes to staff, enhancing morale and team spirit.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

This was implemented many years ago and moved to our Maintenance Facility while our Clubhouse was under renovation. Employees love getting together once a month and spending time at maintenance.
