Employee Fun Committee

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Fun Committee is a Committee comprised of team members from each department of the club. They meet monthly and come up with fun ideas to engage the staff and promote happiness along the way. Among the events the Fun Committee has planned are the Employee Cook-off Events, including the Annual Soup Cookoff, the Dip-Off and the Dessert competition. Special Holiday Events such as Office Trick or Treating, Christmas Bingo and and the Valentines Day Hot Chocolate Bar. The Fun Committee also helped BMCC Employees celebrate some of the lesser known holidays such as National Hot Dog Day and National Lollipop Day!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Monthly meeting of this Committee has been an integral step at building morale across departments. We are seeing our retention rates drop and our annual employee survey results have been impacted by the work of this committee!
