How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Cherokee Town and Country Club launched a perfect attendance challenge for all hourly employees in the month of December. Employees that were not tardy and did not call out in the month of December won a $10 gift card and were entered in a $500 cash drawing, one at each Clubhouse.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Employee schedules had to be input in the Club's payroll system for employees to be eligible. Managers updated a spreadsheet with employee's eligibility throughout the month of December. Employees were excited about the contest and the cash prize was very desired! The winners were announced at each Clubhouse's employee appreciation quarterly meeting.
