How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The idea behind the event prep sheets, buffet sheet, and bar pull sheet are to standardize and streamline the event preparation and expectations. At Indian Hills, we have banquets constantly that have all different needs and requirements. Each event receives a prep sheet, and buffet sheet that are filled out by the Banquets Manager. They are put on the event white board for the week so the staff are able to access when they have the time. They are formatted and filled out in such a way that the staff has a streamlined preparation and can accomplish quickly and efficiently. This has allowed the banquet department to be more organized, prepared and diminished last-minute chaos.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The implementation was fairly seamless. The staff was looking for some easy form of direction and were willing to give feedback through the troubleshooting phase. We went through a few versions from the original and have landed on our standard format with the opportunity to make changes as the standards are adjusted. The membership has noticed changes indirectly. We are set up and prepared for events much earlier as well as that less details are missed.
