Eyes on the Run

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Elves on the Run is a festive family fun run that brings holiday joy, fitness, and community service together. Families run a 1.7-mile, two-loop course decked out in holiday decorations while dressed as elves with jingle bells. After crossing the finish line, participants enjoy decorating cookies with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Buddy the Elf, the Grinch, and even Super Mario, all while singing Christmas carols. Proceeds from the event benefit MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Center, reinforcing our Club’s commitment to giving back.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

By combining fitness, fun, and philanthropy, Elves on the Run strengthens our community bond and elevates our seasonal programming. Members responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, praising the festive decorations, fun activities, and family-friendly atmosphere. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to spend quality time together while supporting a worthy cause. Elves on the Run has quickly become a beloved holiday tradition at the Club.
