Family Meal Delivery

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Woodfield provided its Membership with consistent food and beverage delivery options every day from multiple restaurants. Realizing many Members had extra family residing in their home due to quarantine and travel restrictions, Woodfield developed a family meal menu designed with family-sized portions to serve 2-4 people and food that is easy to share.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

A new family menu theme was announced each week with themes ranging from Mediterranean and Italian to Tex-Mex and French Bistro. Menu items were thoughtfully crafted to represent the theme and Members could also select alcoholic beverages that complemented the meal.

The family meal delivery program was extremely popular with an average of 75 orders each evening. Members enjoyed the sharable portion sizes and appreciated being able to try different cuisines each week.

The program was expanded to include specialty holiday menus for visiting family and friends to enjoy together at home.

Due to the success of the program, Woodfield plans to continue to offer family meal delivery on select days in the future.
