Father Daughter Date Night

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We have been doing a traditional Father Daughter dance for over 15 years and didn’t want to cancel this fun night, so we adapted it into a date night. We created an easy “cook at home” meal that dads and daughters will prepare alongside our Executive Chef and his two daughters. The live demo was streamed over zoom and everyone was able to participate and see each other. One of the most memorable parts of the evening is the photo upon arrival, so we encouraged families to come early and together to pick up their meals and the photo tradition out in front of the club continued.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members loved that we were able to continue such a special night. The new concept was a hit and increased our normal attendance. We were able to connect with members whose daughters have “aged out” and encouraged them to join us in the event while cooking at home.
