Idea Fair
Fill Your Bucket
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
“Filling Your Bucket” is a concept that encourages spreading kindness and acknowledgment. It suggests that everyone has an invisible bucket, and by being kind, we fill the buckets of those around us, which can brighten their day, encourage positive behavior, and provide recognition. This practice not only benefits others but also enriches our own experience. The Events Team actively embraces this idea by recognizing their coworkers, ensuring everyone feels valued and appreciated for their hard work and individuality.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
To implement the “Filling Your Bucket” idea, mini buckets were placed in the Events side station for each department member. The team was encouraged to write anonymous notes of appreciation for their colleagues, highlighting specific tasks, personal qualities, or positive feelings. These notes were then placed in the corresponding buckets. The buckets remained up for three weeks, allowing everyone to participate, and were given to the employees during our Employee Appreciation Day. This initiative not only made team members feel recognized and valued but also strengthened relationships and trust within the team.
