Idea Fair
From the Board Room
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The pandemic has presented challenges never before faced by our Board of Directors. The opportunity for powerful, effective crisis communications has resulted.
With careful strategy, and laser focus on our brand promises to our membership, we evolved a series of Board communications that kept the Granite community close.
With care and empathy, business decisions were communicated in a way that highlighted social and fiscal responsibility. Highlighting the ownership aspects of membership in our not-for-profit Club, members were engaged with intelligence and honesty to ensure understanding of the decisions made during this historic time in the Club’s history, and the shared responsibility of weathering the storm for the future success of our community. How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Feedback has included continual thanks for the regular communications from the Board, and the clarity with which Members were kept informed of decision-making during this challenging time.
The respect and understanding that has been illuminated by this pandemic has reminded us all about how lucky we are to be a part of this Granite community.
We have seen an increase in email subscriptions, and strong open rates that have consistently exceeded 55%.
While we have been apart, communications have kept us close.
