Golf Training Video

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

This video was created for the golf operations by the golf employees. Each employee is involved in at least one video they were responsible for making. This involvement helps to build the pride of our staff and brings us together as a one team working towards the same goals. The Video’s focus in on the Credo card which includes the three steps of Service, The employee Motto, The Employee commitment, the clubs mission statement, and some safety videos.

This enhances our operation because the employees by into all the different ideas that go not creating the best service possible to the members and their guests.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The staff created the video our slow summer period and it was presented to the entire staff in our October 2018 monthly staff meeting. Then over the next few weeks employees were put through two different training session reviewing each video and discussing when to implement them and even role playing out some of the situations. Again this helps the employees buy into what is expected to be the best of the best.

Because of this it is the members who reap the benefits. These employees are better trained and more educated than ever before. We have heard many times that this is the best and most well trained staff they have ever seen here at St. Andrews. You can never stop if you want to be the best and training is a key part that will always come back to pay dividends
