Golf Training Video

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We created a training video for the golf operations staff. Each video describes what to do and what not to do in certain situations while working in Golf Operations. We were able to get every employee in our operation to help create the videos, which in turn helps build a sense of pride and accomplishment while educating and training employees to the standards of our club.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Once the video was transferred into a PowerPoint format, we presented it to the entire Golf Staff during our October monthly meeting in preparation for the upcoming season. By doing this, we were able to engage the employees and get them to buy in to the standards and in return, the members benefited by getting a better educated employee who gives quality service and is well trained in all safety issues.
