GroupX Holiday Stockings: We Love Our Instructors!

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

At The Country Club of Virginia, we thought of a festive way to enhance staff morale in member-facing departments at the Club: creating holiday stockings for members to stuff with kind words.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We:

1. Hung stockings outside of our group exercise studios
2. Encouraged members to stuff them with kind words about their instructors
3. Collected the feedback
4. Distributed the feedback in holiday cards to instructors

At a time when most people are stressed, surprise your staff and create an aura of holiday cheer. This idea doesn’t have to be Christmas themed – use any holiday to collect and share member feedback and enhance employee morale.
