Halloween Escape Room Tween Night

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our Halloween Escape Room was designed for our older youth, tweens, ages 7 – 12 years old. We held this in our group exercise room for maximum space and fun. The room was decorated for a haunted house and the tweens were given hints and tools to escape in under one hour.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The idea was implemented in the month of October. We promoted this Youth Event to the membership through an eblast and newsletter that goes out to the entire membership. Parents were immediately interested in the program and began to ask more questions about doing an escape room monthly.

Parents' overall reaction to the tween night was wonderful, they were excited to have an activity at the club that their older children could participate in. This allowed them to work out or go out for a date night at our many restaurants on property.
