Idea Fair

Halloween Spooktacular

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Hampton Hall Club implemented a new style of Trunk or Treat event for Halloween in 2020. Members were invited to decorate socially distanced spots in the Community Clubhouse Parking lot and supply masked trick- or-treaters all the candy they could expect. All community members were invited to dress up and use this trick-or-treating opportunity in place of going to people's houses on Halloween night.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Engaging to all our members, this event hosted a local band, picnic-style food service, costume contests by age group, and pumpkin decorating. Each station was spread out to ensure that at least 6 feet of social distance was maintained at all times. This event resulted in high member satisfaction and will be continued in future years.
