The celebration of the Harvest Moon took place at the GPYC Sailing Center, nestled in a picturesque waterfront setting on Lake St. Claire. Held in honor of this year’s grape harvest, we curated an exquisite collection of autumn-inspired wines. Against the stunning backdrop of the serene waters, attendees savored a diverse array of wines while eagerly anticipating and witnessing the majestic rise of the Harvest Moon. The event was meticulously planned to harmonize the beauty of the natural surroundings with the delightful experience of wine tasting, creating an enchanting evening on the waterfront.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our Food and Beverage team coordinated with one of our wine vendors to arrange the event space and timing to coincide with the rising of the Harvest Moon. The ambiance and setting were carefully considered to create a picturesque atmosphere. The tasting included several autumn wine selections accompanied by a delectable menu members and their guests were able to enjoy while watching the moon rise over the water.
