How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Richmond Tennis Association (RTA), in partnership with the City of Richmond, offers the Rising Stars program for youth who might not otherwise be exposed to the game of tennis. Ten CCV members and employees led the kids through on-court games and drills that culminated in a post-season celebration awards ceremony and lunch provided by the Club.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The RTA and CCV hope this program will nurture a life-long love of tennis and help the youth involved achieve life skills, including understanding the importance of health and fitness.

We helped dial up the excitement at their end-of-summer celebration by providing helping hands for fun on court games that culminated in an awards ceremony and lunch provided by the Club for the youth and their families.
