Holiday Craft Workshop

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

It's the most wonderful time of the year and we had the best opportunity for our members to drop off their kids while they finished up their last minute shopping, a Holiday Craft Workshop. Within this 3 hour event, our young members were able to create decorations that their parents wouldn't dare throw away. From snow globes to nutcrackers and ornaments, the crafts that were made were something that the family could crack out every year. On top of this, we also had a mug the participants could create as a last-minute gift for their families too.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

It was well attended and gave us the benefit of the sale from the adults using our bar/restaurants /stores. Ensuring the floors were covered was key to ensuring the mess was contained and having engaging, hands-on staff made it a success. The members loved the event, with them asking for it to become a year round activity with more intricate crafts.
