Idea Fair
How Are We Keeping Our Membership Engaged During a Renovation?
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
We are currently using two limited used banquet and athletic spaces to create two new dining rooms for our family members. These spaces have been transformed into to offer dinner while our family dining room is under renovation. Our members are welcomed into these spaces with limited but ample offerings. We are able to keep our full staff on board and offer dining to our entire membership. We are able to keep our "adult" dining spaces more "adult" friendly while still taking care of our youngest members.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
We are currently offering two dining spaces; one opened Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and our other opened on Wednesday's for "kid's night." Our membership has taken to our idea in stride and is becoming consistent patrons. The membership has appreciated the effort and is enjoying our "new" dining rooms. Our staff has done an amazing job making these new spaces feel like a club dining room. Our mature membership has appreciated the ability to continue to dine in a club tradition while not isolating a very key demographic of our membership.
