It's All Fun & Games: Not Just Another Boring Staff Meeting

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

With consistent introduction of new products, services and staff, we’ve found training to be paramount for our operation to be up to date and able to serve our membership.

This spring we introduced a “pre-season” training game to play with our Golf Operations staff to make the process more fun and also serve as a great morale and team building exercise.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

These types of games during staff meetings have used friendly competition to spread information and assist staff members in being more informed about products and able to provide great feedback to members.

We have experienced record Golf Shop sales this past year as well as many compliments from members, who know our staff are experts in the products we sell.

This is an easy, fun and inexpensive way to get employees excited about what they do every day.
