How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

JK Day is a surprise fun day for our Junior KRAKEN Swim Team, named after a former swimmer of ours who passed away. When kids showed up to what they thought was a normal practice, they instead were met with inflatable obstacle courses, games, candy, and other fun activities in and around the pool.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We partnered with a company who donated all the inflatables and facilitated all of the activities around the pool deck for us. Every kid had a blast, and those who skipped practice that day swore they’d never skip again in fear of missing out when this day happens next! it was a very special day honoring our former coach and swimmer, and truly was the talk of the summer for our members!
