How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our head culinary Chef John is always creating extraordinary dishes and many people wonder where he gets his inspiration, creativity, and recipes. In a simple video segment entitled “In Da Kitchen”, Chef John describes where the ingredients come from and how they come together to make these exquisite meals. After seeing how popular these videos became, one of our Movie Camp participants wanted to be Chef John’s newest sous chef. In this adorable video, this young girl walks her viewers through how to make the best buttered noodles.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Chef John graciously agreed to film this video with the movie camp participant. They gathered the ingredients, described each step in making the pasta, and voila - a new variation of In Da Kitchen was born. Not only did her parents fall in love with this video, other members were intrigued because they too enjoy this dish, but have never seen how buttered noodles were made. This made our movie camp kid feel famous and a part of the Champions Run family. Making these kids’ dreams a reality is our goal, and now this girl can say she has been head chef for a day!
