Kids Wildlife Encounter

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

When building our Club Calendar, we were looking for an additional event just for younger kids. Wildlife Encounters was the perfect event that catered to kids 8 & Under. It would be great for older kids as well, but most of our attendees were in the younger age group. After opening up registrations, the event filled up in two days and we had a waitlist. The members had a great time, and many of them joined us for Sunday Brunch right before the event.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Wildlife Encounters brought 6 different animals. Their wildlife expert was incredibly knowledgeable and was wonderful with the kids! Each child had the opportunity to see up-close, touch and ask questions about all of the animals. The event was interactive and educational- the kids AND adults all loved it! All the kids went home with a temporary animal tattoo and plenty of pictures to document their experience.
