Leadership & Culture Crew

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

A dynamic group of culture positive Team-Members representing each department. This small, but impactful team meets regularly to discuss pressing topics, share feedback, and provide valuable insights to management to improve Member and Team-Member experiences. The topics of each meeting tie into the Club’s Team-Member Core Values: Loyalty, Collaboration and Creativity.

The Leadership & Culture Crew is developing Long Cove Club’s first expansive Team-Member orientation program.  This two-day orientation will be a comprehensive introduction to the Club, designed to warmly welcome and fully integrate new Team-Members into the LCC family. The itinerary is navigated over “18 holes” of topics, all related to our Core Values. We are creating an environment that supports continuous improvement and development, while fostering a strong sense of belonging from day one and the importance of adding value to our Team and Membership.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The idea for the Leadership & Culture Crew was born out of a desire to bridge communication between departments and management while strengthening the Club’s community. Since its inception, the Crew has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both Team-Members and Club Members alike. The Team appreciates having their voices heard, and Members have taken note of the vibrant, collaborative workplace culture fostered by these efforts.

With their hands-on involvement in Club operations, the Leadership & Culture Crew uses our Core Values as a platform to make a lasting impact, drive the Team-Member culture and enhance the Member’s experience.
