'Lei'bor Day Pool Party

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our “Lei”bor day celebration encouraged families to spend the entire weekend at the Club, rather than traveling for the holiday weekend. On a typical year, Labor Day is one of our slower weekends due to the fact that we live in a camping and boating mecca. We celebrated the end of summer and the closing of our pool with a 240% increase in revenue over the same time period in 2021!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We played games, had music, staff and members dressed in tropical attire, and we offered specialty drinks and a Hawaiian inspired BBQ.

It was a huge success with members & their families enjoying a fun day by the pool! We were a bit concerned members would have other Labor Day weekend plans, but our last pool day of the year ended up being the BIGGEST and BEST!
