Live Dining Experience

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Live Dining Experience offering dinner inside the Clubhouse kitchen. We have begun offering dinner reservations by invitation only in the kitchen once a month to our more challenging members. We will continue to do this in hopes that our members will see what occurs behind the scenes on a busy Friday or Saturday night and the lengths staff go to create a fabulous dining experience for all members in the dining room. Our goal is that this new experience for members will humanize the staff in their eyes.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Planning and organizing for our Live Dining Experiences entails close communication and organization with all kitchen and dining room staff. The kitchen must be rearranged to accommodate a dining table but still functional for service.

The members who have joined us for the Live Dining Experience have loved it. They had not realized all of the moving parts it takes to run a busy dining room. Many of the members who have heard of this new opportunity are anxious to receive invitations.
