How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Club brand and awareness is what we strive for. By creating a branding iron with our club logo, we are able to communicate our brand in a unique Ansley way that members have come to recognize. Branded items are used in various ways around the clubhouse from serving platters in banquets to menu covers in our dining facilities. Its impactful, yet subtle nuances make it the perfect balance to promote our club and communicate our brand, literally.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We found a company that produces custom branding irons and had them create one with our club logo. In 2014, we began a tree removal process at our Settindown Course in Roswell, Georgia, taking down almost 3,000 Ash trees. Our Grounds team milled the lumber and have produced countless Ansley items. Members have highly enjoyed our incorporation of the wood from the Ash trees into many aspects of the club so we decided to take it a step further by branding our logo onto the wood. Members now recognize the brand as a unique representation of Ansley.
