Making Mowers More User Friendly

Description

Farmington's Golf Course and Grounds Maintenance Departments use a wide variety of mowers in keeping the Club's 36 greens, tees, and fairways in meticulous condition. With a staff of approximately 28 dedicated workers—tasked with maintaining over 125 acres of turf—the need to get the right equipment to the right location is paramount.

Implementation

Weather-resistant, easy-to-read vinyl stickers were placed on each mower to easily identify the task and location of each machine. As a result, operators never end up using the wrong mower for their scheduled job—reducing operator error and improving operational efficiency. In addition, the equipment can be readily tracked and identified for engine and performance maintenance.
