How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

To ensure the safety of members and staff at BHYC during the pandemic, the Club designed an appealing, informational sign that is easy to comprehend and clearly defines mask-wearing parameters around BHYC property. The Mask Map gives members clear direction while providing BHYC staff with an appealing way to enforce the mask wearing rule.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

With communication currently at the forefront of every business, creative signage has become key to keeping members informed while in the different areas of the property. In an effort to not be overlooked, BHYC thought a fun, animated map of the entire Club property would be entertaining and informational for members and act as a lighthearted approach! The Mask Map was extremely useful when it came to enforcing the mask policy and allowed for newer members or children to understand the different locations of the Club. BHYC used the printed hard copy to display around the Club and used the digital version on the website and app to be referenced at the member’s convenience. The signage proved to be very effective as there were minor instances throughout the season regarding enforcing the Club masking policy.
