Idea Fair
Member Ambassador Program
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Our Member Ambassador Program was designed to integrate new Members into the fabric of the Club's community. The program actively contributed to enhancing the Member experience by fostering a sense of camaraderie and friendship. Families new to Birmingham, in particular, found this program invaluable, as it served as a gateway to establish connections and forge life-long friendships in their new surroundings.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Upon joining the Club, newcomers completed a questionnaire, providing valuable insights into their interests, alma mater, children's ages, hobbies, and career fields.
The Greystone Membership department then orchestrated the pairing process, connecting them with established members who had willingly embraced the ambassador role, boasting robust social circles within the Club. Based on shared affinities, the matches became the foundation for creating meaningful connections. Whether securing dining reservations, booking tennis courts, arranging golf tee times, or orchestrating other Club activities, the Ambassador Program became a conduit for social and business connections. This strategic approach accelerated the integration of new Members and paved the way for forming lasting relationships.
