Member-Guest Kids Camp

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Members now have a childcare option during one of the largest weekends at the club, Member-Guest! This 2-day kids camp has helped create more participation with our Spouse Experience events for Member-Guest, as well as engage another demographic in the weekend long festivities! Some activities in the Member-Guest Kids Camp include: Arts and Crafts, Tennis and Pickleball, Soccer Shots, Lunch, Snack, Movie Time, Yoga, and Mad Science Workshops!

This also benefits our seasonal team, as it acts as a great "training" day for our Summer Camp Counselors who are new to the team. This 2-day camp takes place 3 days before our official Summer Camp program begins, and is a great opportunity for some hands-on, final training before the big day!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Having a child-care option was highly requested from several parents that are involved with the Member-Guest Golf Tournament. Members and their Guests were beyond appreciative to have the option to bring their kids to the club for the day and know they are safe and well-entertained! The kids and new Camp Counselors have a blast as well.
