How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

At BCC, The Simple Truth: Great People Make Favorite Places is a way of life. Our collective goal is to continue to make BCC a favorite place for our members and staff by welcoming exemplary individuals to the BCC family and providing the highest level of service in exceptional facilities. For many private clubs, the membership process is the club’s backbone. Yet, committee and staff members who are not directly involved in new member onboarding may not have the tools to understand membership metrics truly.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

In 2020, our Membership Team made significant strides in demystifying the membership proposal process for both members and staff. We designed a dashboard, which is now referenced in all staff and committee meetings, illustrating our net resident membership, prospective member pipeline, and progress toward achieving our annual membership goals. This dashboard has proven to be an excellent tool for educating staff and members on our membership’s overall health and is ensuring the Club is collectively working towards our goals.
