How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

2021 was a year full of challenges, we faced many things we hadn’t seen before. However, our team members persevered through it all. Like many things, our Milestone Anniversary Celebration looked very different from years past, having limitations on large events, we decided to scale it back while still celebrating these individuals.

Our General Manager, the department’s assistant General Manager and other team members gathered in small groups to celebrate these Milestones. In 2021 our longest tenure team member celebrated 35 years with ANCC!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

While this often takes place in the back of the house or during non-busy times, we did receive positive feedback from members. While at our Fairfax campus there were a group of members present when we awarded an employee, the members seemed to really enjoy the process and being a part of the celebration. Ensuring that the team members are happy and feel cared for is an important part of serving our members.
