Monthly Meal Boxes at Home

Description

The Edgewood At Home box came to life in January 2019 as a new food concept for our members. The box is our take on monthly meal kits that comes complete with all prepackaged and proportioned ingredients. Each month, we present two different recipes that can be ordered in two or four person portions. Each box contains a laminated recipe card for cooking instructions with photos and written descriptions detailing each step. The box itself is labeled with the EAH logo and member's name and can be picked up at the host stand in our Donald Ross Grille on the last day of each month. The box is counted towards member's monthly food minimums and gives them the option to bring Edgewood home to adapt to their on-the-go lifestyle or simply provides a new and exciting option for those who want to try something fun!

Implementation

The Edgewood At Home box concept was introduced to our members in February 2019 through advertising the month's two meal options in the monthly ECCO newsletter as well as on our club social platforms. The box comes together each month with a collaboration of our Chef de Cuisine and our Administrative Assistant who come up with each new recipe, photograph each step in meal preparation, and ultimately bring the box together. We received ten member orders in February's box debut, many of whom still order the box month after month, proving the success of the concept. Overall, those who continue to order the box as well as those who are order new have shared rave reviews. These reviews not only remark on how easy it is to follow cooking instructions, but also how tasty their meals are! We offer a discount to those who order both monthly boxes in addition to a $5 coupon off a future box to those who use #ECCATHOME to share a photo of themselves, their finished meal, or of them cooking their Edgewood At Home meal.
