My Big Fat Greek Experience with Chef Ben

This event exceeded all expectations, selling out within minutes and necessitating the addition of a second night, which also sold out in record time. The Members thoroughly enjoyed interacting with our team members, particularly with our charismatic Executive Chef Ben. We are confident that this will become a cherished annual Club tradition, with Chef Ben Guaman leading culinary experience events. This year, Chef Ben will sweep our Members away to Patagonia, regaling them with stories, cooking techniques, and cuisine inspired by his upcoming journey. Members are already inquiring about future culinary events, and we anticipate yet another sold-out success. The inclusion of both events contributed to surpassing Member event revenues in August, which has been a historically slower month revenue wise.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The genesis of this extraordinary event began with Chef Ben sharing his experiences and culinary insights during a departmental food and beverage meeting. His infectious passion and enthusiasm left everyone eagerly anticipating more. It was at that moment when someone exclaimed, "Our members would LOVE to hear these stories, Chef!" Following careful planning, we selected a date, and Chef Ben crafted a delightful "surprise" Greek menu. The first night sold out in minutes, prompting the addition of a second night, both of which became sell-out successes.
Members reveled in the captivating room decor, Chef Ben's engaging stories, and the visual journey through pictures from his trip. The highlight, of course, was the delectable 3-course menu. The evenings concluded with standing ovations for Chef Ben and glowing praise on our post-event survey, solidifying this as a memorable and much-appreciated experience for our club members.
