How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

During the pandemic, Cosmos Club continued to find innovative ways to connect with its membership of nearly 3,000. Nearly half of the members live more than 40 miles form Club, classified as nonresident. They live throughout the US and overseas. We decided to ship our signature crab cakes to them, “A Taste of Cosmos Club”. This provided another opportunity to strengthen the emotional ties to the Club.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members were provided ordering instructions and details via newsletter and other Club communications. We shipped with ice packs, overnight shipping. Items were packed and shipped with careful instructions for preparation and cooking. The reaction was overwhelmingly positive, many members shipping as gifts, including to Australia.
