Idea Fair
Night of Lights
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Night of Lights was a unique event for our members during the chaotic holiday season. At our club, we offered a drive through Burger Night so members could have a contactless dinner before they were invited to drive around the Champions Run neighborhood and look at the Christmas Lights from their car. Some houses in the neighborhood even offered to have a “pop-up” bar in their driveway for the 21+ crowd. It was a great way for our membership to get into the spirit of Christmas with their friends and family, without worrying about being too close to others during the pandemic.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Our staff departments did a phenomenal job coordinating their efforts to make sure this event was a success. We really dedicated a lot of our time and efforts to planning events outdoors so that our members could feel safe and welcomed. Our members found this event to be an awesome way to get out of the house and be social within the confines of their own car. Because we have done Burger Nights in our parking lot in the past, we were able to make the flow of traffic as smooth and seamless as possible.
