Peer-to-Peer Employee Recognition Program

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Last spring, the club launched an online peer-to-peer employee recognition program using the Awardco platform. This facilitates real-time recognition, allowing employees to acknowledge each other’s achievements and reward them points. This recognition is visible across the organization, magnifying its impact and allowing teammates at all levels to see and appreciate the accomplishments of their colleagues. Those making recognitions can customize their messages and add photos to make the acknowledgement more specific and meaningful. The accumulated points can be redeemed conveniently via Amazon Gifts.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The recognition platform was rolled out to employees with a special launch event in the Grand Ballroom including games, prizes and snacks. Participants were encouraged to set up the app on their mobile phone during the session and the energy in the room was buzzing. The program was further promoted using employee notice boards, email campaigns and the staff newsletter. Since then, the recognition platform has introduced regular gamification with incentives, has boosted morale, and is encouraging a culture of appreciation and engagement in an inclusive manner for all. By the end of December 2023, we had had over 1,100 recognitions posted! Selected recognitions are regularly shared in the monthly newsletter.
