Progressive Wine Tastings

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Progressive Wine Tastings significantly elevate our club's operations. These events create a unique and relaxed experience for our members, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. The tranquil ambiance of the golf course provides an idyllic backdrop, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the events. The multifaceted nature of these events (unique theme, food/wine pairings, on golf course, caravan in golf carts) makes them appealing to everyone from wine enthusiasts to social members to golfers to more senior members to young members treating it as a "date night." These events are ones that we really have fun with and our staff look forward to, as well. We get to be creative and think outside the box (literally)!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Progressive Wine Tastings are incredibly well-received by our membership. Reservations sell out quickly and they are always events that people look forward to. To keep engagement and participation high, we offer Progressive Wine Tastings 2-3 times a year, aiming for once per season (spring, summer, fall [Club closed for winter]). Each time we do a Progressive Wine Tasting, we pick a different theme and unique food/wine pairings that are laid out over 4-5 stops around our Club grounds. Our members love this and also appreciate the opportunity to get out on our golf course and around our beautiful property for a relaxed, non-sporting evening.
