Idea Fair

Pup's Paradise

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Having a dog park at the club during the off-season has significantly enhanced member engagement and strengthened camaraderie among our membership, even when traditional club facilities are closed. This amenity provides a convenient and familiar space for members to connect, fostering a sense of community year-round while adding value to their overall club experience.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The idea of a dog park was brought to life through the collaborative efforts of the club's leadership team, staff, and members. The process began with brainstorming sessions where various departments—operations, grounds & greens , and member services—worked together to identify underutilized outdoor spaces that could be repurposed. Once the location was selected, the grounds & greens team prepared the area, installing secure fencing, waste stations, and seating to ensure the space was functional and welcoming.

Input from members also played a crucial role, as feedback was gathered to understand their needs and preferences for the park. This collaborative approach not only ensured the success of the project but also strengthened the bond between the club’s team and its members.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Members have expressed gratitude for this thoughtful amenity, praising the teamwork that made it possible. Many have enjoyed the opportunity to socialize and build camaraderie with fellow members in this new, pet-friendly space, reinforcing their sense of community and appreciation for the club. The initiative has become a shining example of how teamwork can enhance the member experience and bring innovative ideas to life.
