Rally Stars Tennis Program

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Rally Stars is an outreach program crafted to offer a low-income school an outlet to tennis facilities. While we offer support in other ways, this is a great program that offers after school care for many students, gives them physical activity and allows our members and staff to share their love for the game of tennis. Our members are proud to support the school and the children.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The members enjoy watching the kids play and learn. They sign up for volunteer times to assist the pros with the afterschool program.  The members will walk the children too and from the school grounds for the program, as well as assist on court. It lasts 8 weeks and many of the students end up joining us on a scholarship for summer camps.
