River Oaks BINGO at Home!

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Like many clubs, BINGO has been a long time tradition for ROCC families. When the pandemic hit, we brought it home. Bingo that is....born was ROBAH! (River Oaks Bingo at Home!)

This idea was one of many during the pandemic that kept up with club tradition, tethering members to the club in a fun and engaging way while we couldn't be together in person.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

When the program first began, we printed a series of BINGO cards packaged with M&M Candy 'markers' and instructions on how to join the live stream. To promote our new version of BINGO (ROBAH!), these kits were placed in each to-go order leaving the Club. After it caught on, links to cards were distributed electronically.

Each week, we joined over 20 families on Zoom for a live broadcast of ROBAH! 10 games were played and we even honored prizes by preparing activity kits, sending Amazon gift cards, or giving club food to-go credits. Fun was had by all and all ages!
