Safe and Easy Pumpkin Patch

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Given the restrictions on large gatherings in NC, we wanted to give the Membership a safe private socially distanced space to pick pumpkins. The Golf Course Maintenance department along with the Clubhouse Team built a pumpkin patch and photo opportunity on our back lawn. This event was SO successful that we distributed over 140 pumpkins on the first day and had to order more pumpkins three times (450 pumpkins).

How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members were appreciative of the time and attention we took into creating a fun and safe event and will most likely be a new annual event.
