Safety Grid

Description

The Safety Grid is a tactic used by the armed forces and most recently, in schools, public arenas and stadiums. By creating and implanting this grid, both staff and ultimately first responders can now identify and get to locations on property in an urgent and timely manner. We are now better prepared to save lives and reduce the suffering of those in need. Two minutes can make a difference between life and death during a heart attack.

Implementation

We brought in first responders and other state agencies that have developed this grid throughout the United States. After a few sight visits we were able develop a grid that was shared with all local first responders and club's staff. To ensure the success of the program, we allowed the NJ State Police to run drills on our property while not impacting services. Member's reaction has been very positive as they know it's an initiative that puts safety first.
