How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The event was created with the intention to be an aperitif or nightcap experience at the club, which had never been done before. Early in November on a Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM we had 50 Members join us on the Ballroom Terrace to sample scotch, enjoy one of the new signature winter cocktails live in all our outlets and eat snacks and s'mores by the fire pits! Chris Houk and Lisa Pope, Ambassadors from Glenmorangie and Ardbeg, were in attendance and we had live guitar music to help set the mood. We poured many exclusive scotches including Glenmorangie, 12 year, Lasanta, Sherry Cask Finished, Glenmorangie, 15 year, The Cadboll Estate, American Oak Bourbon Cask Finished, Ardbeg, 10 year, among 6 others!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We have come to realize that our members enjoy exclusive food and beverage experiences and had never done a scotch event in this format. We sold out at 50 members within a week and the evening was enjoyed by all! We are now considering other beverage events in the same format for members to look forward to.
