The carpets in our Indoor Tennis Facility tend to accumulate tennis ball lint and debris quickly. To ensure the facility stays pristine at all times, even while members are actively playing, our housekeeping team came up with an innovative and silent cleaning solution. By attaching an extra-large lint roller to an extension handle, the team can efficiently clean the carpets without the noise and disruption of a vacuum cleaner. Not only is this method quieter, but it’s also proven to be more effective at picking up debris compared to traditional vacuuming.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The housekeeping team sourced extra-wide, high-tack adhesive rolls to use on the carpets, going through about 8-12 rolls annually. This quick, quiet, and effective solution has impressed members, many of whom have even inquired about where they can get similar products for their homes. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with members appreciating the improved cleanliness and the unobtrusive cleaning process during their time at the facility.
